People who suffer from high blood pressure or hypertension, the need to limit foods that contain sodium (Na) which is widely available on the salt.


As quoted from healthcentral, a list of foods that should be avoided by people with hypertension are:

1. Pickles, low-calorie does good for the body, but it has a high sodium content, a pickled cucumber can contain 570 mg of sodium. This is equivalent to one third of the maximum amount of sodium per day (2,300 mg).

2. French fries, although some restaurants fry with trans fat-free oil, fat and sodium content is high. Presentation of a medium-size French fries contains 270 mg sodium and 19 grams of fat.

3. Bacon, three slices of bacon containing 270 mg sodium and 4.5 grams of fat meat birds can be an alternative rather than bacon.

4. Milk, a source of calcium, but high in fat. In a glass of milk contains 8 grams of fat and 5 grams of saturated fat. Saturated fats are not good for people with liver and dangerous for people who have high blood pressure.

5. Donuts, a donut is enough to produce 200 calories with 12 grams of fat.

6. Instant noodles. Easy to make and taste delicious. But a packet of instant noodles contains 14 grams of fat and 1.580 mg of sodium.

7. Margarine does not entirely evil. For people with high blood pressure, they must ensure that the margarine does not contain saturated fats, read the packaging to make sure.

8. Sugar, which means here is that foods with extra calories and sugar. example is the pastries (cookies) and chocolate bars. both can lead to obesity. These foods could potentially suffer from high blood pressure. Being overweight makes a lot of blockages in the heart and slow the blood work.
