Three years after the death of his wife, Sophia, Danny Gokey fall in love again.
31-year-old singer announced his engagement to Peralta on the page Leyicet Sophia's Heart, a charity established to honor his late wife.
Danny, a native of Milwaukee, will marry Leyicet end of January 2012, according to the site.
In lieu of gifts, the couple asked guests to contribute to the Sophia's Heart.
"We are very grateful for the blessings God gave to us. Hope we can see the children and families remain homeless can congregate and be independent through Sophia's Heart," the couple said. "We really love and appreciate you all."
Danny began to be known since the finalists 'American Idol' eighth season. His debut album 'My Best Days' was released in March 2010.
