Spent time in Kowloon Walled City

A few people who spent time in Kowloon Walled City have written accounts of their experiences. Because of the deal between China and Great Britain at the time, British police had no power within the Kowloon city walls. But the walled city was more than a physical conglomeration of buildings and people,
it was an inadvertent symbol of the long struggle between China and Hong Kong, ruled by neither.
