'To Great Lengths', Installations by Esther Traugot
Installation of works by artist Esther Traugot. Traugot covers objects of nature (trees, seeds, insects, branches) in crocheted threads in an attempt to "prop up" or "put back" what has been abandoned or broken. In January 22, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Free.

Esther Traugot was born in 1972 in an intentional community, where her experiences growing up in a rural landscape in pursuit of utopian ideals influence her interest in what naturalism means today. In August 2010 she exhibited at, and is currently represented by Chandra Cerrito Contemporary Gallery in Oakland, Ca.
