baking potatoes (Idaho or another baking potato)

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Wash and scrub the potatoes. Dry them then grease them lightly with a bit of butter.

Peel potatoes and cut into 3-4mm thick slices.

Layer the potato slices, seasoning with salt and pepper between the layers, in a 2.6 litre capacity baking dish. We use a baking dish that is about 6cm deep.

Pat the sweet potatoes dry and rub them with a light coating of olive oil, butter, or margarine. Prick their skins with a fork several times to allow them to release the steam they’ll produce as they bake. Wrap each potato in its own sheet of aluminum foil. Sweet potatoes can leak some of their sugar during baking despite being foil-wrapped, so transfer the wrapped potatoes to a baking sheet before they go into the oven.

They come in many types from the potato baker like a big king Edward jack potato to a fresh early Christmas Potato.
Not forgetting the desiree potato, or the white potato, oven baked jacket potatoes can go with all types of meals and all from one big tuba that is the potato.

Choking can be life threatening for your cat. The harder a choking cat tries to breathe, the more panicky he or she can become. A cat owner's goal is to open the airway without being bitten. If you are uncertain whether your cat is choking, some signs to look for include the cat pawing at his or her mouth, a pale or blue cat tongue, obvious distress, and unconsciousness.

Sit under a good light source and gently open your cat’s mouth. A good look may reveal the cause of the problem. It is possible to remove some foreign bodies using tweezers. Others will require the cat to be under general anesthesia-which requires a trip to the veterinarian. Foreign bodies left in place for a day or longer may cause infection.
